Natural born adventurer, Laura Bingham (22) is taking on a South American adventure of epic proportions aboard her trusty Croix de Fer.

Natural born adventurer, Laura Bingham (22) is taking on a South American adventure of epic proportions aboard her trusty Croix de Fer. As a social experiment, Laura and adventure partner Cho are traveling some 7500km across the continent without a penny between them to see first-hand the kindness of strangers. The journey will take them from Manta in Ecuador to Buenos Aires in Argentina and should take four or five months - which is handy as Laura is planning to get married in September! 

Laura and Cho's bike of choice for this epic is the 2016 Croix de Fer 20 & 30. With a beautifully crafted Reynolds 725 frame and plently of mounts, braze-on's and accoutrements for luggage, the Croix 20 & 30 should see them over the worst terrain the continent can throw at them!

"My next expedition will take me to South America where i will cycle 7500km with no money, i will rely on the food given and what food i can find whether thats bugs, plants or a plate of food from a kind person, i will rely on the water given to me and the water i will filter from streams or lakes.

Cycling through the Andes, Desert, the Amazon, Cities, Gaucho cultural areas... who knows what will happen!!!

Im going to film the whole thing! and Tigress will produce it into a whirl wind documentary for everyone to watch.

Will the people of South America take pity on me and give me enough food to replenish what I've used cycling that distance?"
